Sunday City Walks

In September 2010, guided walks around various parts of Liverpool and Merseyside will depart at 2 p.m. every Sunday afternoon.

The themes are as follows:

Sept 5th  "A Mystery tour - on foot!"
Come and be fascinated by things you thought you knew about the City of Liverpool.
Meet outside the 08 Place Visitor Information Office, Whitechapel, Liverpool L1

Sept 12th  "An appointment with the Doctor!"
Medical men who have put Liverpool on the map.
Meet at "A Case History" sculpture,
Hope Street/Mount Street corner, Liverpool L1

Sept 19th  "Kirkby, Part 2"
Discover more of the history of this former Viking settlement.
Meet at Kirkby Station (Merseyrail Northern Line),
Glovers Brow, Kirkby                         

Sept 26th "The Maybrick Trail"
Hear of this fascinating murder mystery and see some of the places James and Florence would have known.
Meet at the north entrance to St Georges' Hall, top of William Brown Street, Liverpool L3
