Sunday City Walks

In August 2010, guided walks around various parts of Liverpool and Merseyside will depart at 2 p.m. on most Sunday afternoons.

The themes are as follows:

Aug 1st  "Dr Moss's Guidebook"
A walk amongst  tourists in Liverpool in the 1700's.
Meet at junction of Rodney Street & Leece Street, Liverpool L1

Aug 8th  "Pier Head - Past, Present & Future"
A look at how Liverpool's waterfront has changed over the past 300 years- & is still changing.
Meet at the Queen Victoria Monument, Derby Square
, Liverpool L2

Aug 15th  "A Celebration of Architects"
The magnificent, the revolutionary, the quaint - see them all in the Civic Quarter.
Meet in front of Liverpool Town Hall
, Castle Street, Liverpool L2

Aug 22nd  "Retail Therapy!"
With major changes on the High Street, a nostalgic look for some Liverpool stores we may still remember.
Meet by St Luke's Church
, top of Bold Street, Liverpool L1

Aug 29th  Bank Holiday Weekend - NO WALK

The cost of these walks is £3.50 per person (£3.00 concessions) payable to the Blue Badge or Green Badge Guide at the start of the walk. Walks last 90-120 minutes, and will take place as advertised unless unforeseen changes dictate changes. They are not dependent on the weather, so appropriate clothing and footwear is recommended

Remember that you can HIRE A GUIDE, if you wish, to provide any of these walks at a future date and time to suit the requirements of your own group.
