Sunday City Walks

Between 13th March and 24th April 2005, guided walks around various parts of Liverpool and Merseyside will depart at 2 p.m. on most Sunday afternoons. The themes are as follows:

March 13th - CELTIC LIVERPOOL (Walk of Faith). Irish, Welsh, Scots and Manx are all part of Liverpool's story between the feasts of Saints David and Patrick. Explore some of these Celtic links. Meet outside Merseytravel/Tourist Information Centre, Queen Square, Liverpool L1.

March 20th - DRUNKEN SAILORS & YELLOW SUBMARINES (SeaWalk). A celebration of Liverpool's maritime music. Meet outside the Merseytravel/Tourist Information Centre, Queen Square, Liverpool L1.

April 3rd - THEATRES GREAT & SMALL, Part 1. Raise the curtains and dim the lights as we enjoy the stories of actors and writers from Liverpool's world of entertainment. Meet outside Everyman Theatre, Hope Street, Liverpool L1.

April 10th - BRITAIN'S NEWEST WORLD HERITAGE SITE, Part 2. A detailed look at the Commercial Quarter. Meet outside Liverpool Town Hall, Castle Street/Water Street, Liverpool L2.

April 17th - LIVERPOOL, CITY OF SCULPTURE. It's only when you really look that you see … come and explore! Meet outside the Beatles Story Exhibition, Albert Dock, Liverpool L3.

April 24th - ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES (SeaWalk). Stories of settlers, travellers, transport and more. Meet in St Nicholas Church Gardens, off Chapel Street, Liverpool L3.
