Sunday City Walks

Between 1st June and 13th July 2003, guided walks around various parts of Liverpool and Merseyside will depart at 2 p.m. on most Sunday afternoons.
The themes are as follows:

June 1st - SEAFORTH BY THE SEA. Explore Mr Gladstone's Seaforth. Meet at Seaforth & Litherland Station, Seaforth Road/Bridge Road, Liverpool L21.

June 22nd
- CELEBRATE LIVERPOOL'S WORLD HERITAGE SITE, PART 1. To coincide with Architecture Week, explore aspects of Liverpool's application to UNESCO. Meet outside the Moat House Hotel, Paradise Street, Liverpool L1.

June 29th - MEMORABLE MERSEYSIDERS.  Musicians, merchants and many, many more. Meet at the
Queen Square
Information Centre, Liverpool L1.

July 6th - VERGING ON THE SUBLIME! A look at what's happening in and around Lime Street. Meet at the
Queen Square
Information Centre, Liverpool L1.

July 13th - FROM LO-TECH TO HI-TECH, PART 2. A journey from Meccano to Microsoft through the Wavertree Technology Park. Meet at the corner of Binns Road/Edge Lane, Liverpool L13.

July 20th - THE LIVERPOOL THAT NEVER WAS! Plans don't always come to fruition, as this walk will show. Meet at the Queen Square Information Centre, Liverpool L1.

The cost of these walks is £3 adults, £2 conc's, payable to the Blue Badge Guide at the start of the walk. Walks last approx. 90 minutes, and will take place regardless of the weather!

Remember that you can HIRE A GUIDE, if you wish, to provide any of these walks at a future date and time to suit the requirements of your own group.
