Sunday City Walks

Between 20th July and 31st August 2003, guided walks around various parts of Liverpool and Merseyside will depart at 2 p.m. on most Sunday afternoons. The themes are as follows:

July 20th - THE LIVERPOOL THAT NEVER WAS! Plans don't always come to fruition, as this walk will show. Meet at the Queen Square Information Centre, Liverpool L1.

July 27th - DREAMING SPIRES, PART 2. To celebrate Liverpool's Year of Learning, a further exploration of the University Quarter. Meet outside the Victoria Tower, top of Brownlow Hill, Liverpool L3.

August 3rd - FANCY A BREATH OF FRESH AIR? See the sites of epic scenes and sagas. Meet at 1.45 pm at the Sunburst Gates entrance to Princes Park, Liverpool L8.

August 10th - TOWER, SPIRE & GINGERBREAD. Discover stories and secrets of the market town of Ormskirk. Meet at 2.15 pm at Ormskirk Station, Ormskirk, West Lancashire L39.

August 31st - JORDAN, JERICHO & JEREMIAH? Revelations on a journey from the Vale to the Otter's Pool. Meet at Aigburth Vale, Liverpool L17.
