Sunday City Walks

In June 2009, guided walks around various parts of Liverpool and Merseyside will depart at 2 p.m. on most Sunday afternoons.

The themes are as follows:

7th June 'Linking the Link'
A walk which previews the official opening of the Leeds/Liverpool canal extension.
Meet 2pm at Sandhills Station (Northern Line), Sandhills Lane, Liverpool L5.

14th June 'Mersey River Festival - see separate programme

21st June 'All Creatures Great and Small'
Discover some of the many animals evident around the city centre.
Meet 2pm outside the Britannia Adelphi Hotel, Lime Street/Ranelagh Place, Liverpool L3.

28th June 'Beyond the Boundaries'
A 3 hr country Ramble between Bromborough & Hooton stations, Wirral Line.
Meet 2pm at Bromborough Station (Wirral Line), Allport Road, Bromborough. (N.B. limited access for those with mobility problems).
