Sunday City Walks
In July and August 2007, guided walks around various parts of Liverpool and Merseyside will depart at 2 p.m. on most Sunday afternoons.
The themes are as follows:
Sun 1 July: Southport - A Classic Resort
Find out what changes are in hand for the image of this Victorian Town. Meet 2pm outside Southport Arts Centre,

Sun 8 July: Murder Most Foul - A Maybrick Walk
Meet 2pm at Cressington Station, Knowsley Road, L19
Sun 15 July: All Change on Riverside Drive!
(Including a chance to enjoy aspects of the Hub Festival). Meet 2pm at St. Michael's Station, Southwood Road, L17
Sun 22 July: Hotfoot on Hope Street
Discover more of the area associated with of this popular annual Festival. Meet 2pm outside Metropolitan Cathedral Visitor Centre, Mount Pleasant, L3
Sun 29 July: A Waterway 250 Years Young!
Celebrate the opening of Henry Berry's innovative new canal to the Mersey. Meet 2pm at St Helens Central Station
Sun 5 Aug: Liverpool's Original 7 Streets
In the month when we celebrate the granting of the Charter, explore the settlement of 1207. Meet 2pm at the 08 Place, Whitechapel, L1
Sun 12 Aug: A Woolton Village Walk
From the 12th century, to the colourful village it is today. Meet 2pm at Woolton Post Office, Woolton Street, L25
Sun 19 August: Meet Bertha Archer
In recognition of the successes of Liverpool's black community, and in the week the new International Slavery Museum opens, join, in role, the wife of Britain's 1st black mayor. Meet 2pm at the Queen Victoria monument,
