Sunday City Walks

Between 3rd November and 8th December 2002, guided walks around various parts of Merseyside will depart at 2 p.m. on most Sunday afternoons. The themes are as follows:

November 3rd - FILMLIVERPOOL.COM. A chance to discover some recent innovations in film and media in the city. Meet at Queen Square Information Centre, L1.

November 10th - WITHIN THE INNER CIRCLE. Houses old, houses new, within the district of Tuebrook. Meet by the traffic island at Muirhead Avenue/West Derby Road, L13.

November 17th - ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR ... TWELVE OR MORE?  A glimpse of the future in the successful Twelve Quays district of Birkenhead. Meet at Hamilton Square Station, Hamilton Street, Birkenhead.

November 24th - A WORLD IN ONE CITY? The cosmopolitan nature of the Lark Lane area might just surprise you! Meet outside Sefton Park Library,
Aigburth Road, L17.

December 1st - HATCHED, MATCHED & DISPATCHED. Find out where: at a mosque, 'Loc' and necropolis! Meet at Brougham Terrace, West Derby Road, L6.

December 8th - HESWALL, ANOTHER DOMESDAY BOOK STORY. See how this Wirral village has changed over time into a prestigious location! Meet at Heswall Bus Station, Telegraph Road, Heswall.
