HOW TO GET
your Yahoo ID
(Part 2)

** First Name,
and ** Last Name: Staightforward. Note that these will NOT necessarily determine the 'From' name on your messages.

** Gender: You MUST select Male or Female.

** Yahoo ID: This is the word or name you want to appear in your new email address, before the @yahoo.co.uk. You can use the underscore character _ but not full stops or spaces. Obviously it can't be a name that someone else is already using.

** Password: Use between 6 and 8 letters. Always use lower-case unless you are prepared to remember which of the letters have to be in capitals.

** Security question: Select a question from the list offered (like 'What is your pet's name?') then type the answer in the space provided. This allows you to find out your password if you ever forget it. The only problem is, you may end up having to remember a non-existent pet's name as well as your password!!

** Birthday: Easy. You don't have to be honest, but if you're not, you will need to make a note of what you've typed, as you may be asked for it at a later stage (e.g. if you ever forget your password).

** Postal code: You MUST insert a full postcode, i.e. not just L15 or whatever.

** Country: Select United Kingdom.

** Alternate email: Ignore this question.

** Marketing Preferences: It's probably best NOT to tick this box.

** Verify your Registration: Just type in the string of letters/numbers you can see/decipher in the graphic image.
