AIMS of
Liverpool Future
Liverpool Future is a discussion forum for Civic Trust society members and others interested in the future of Liverpool, the city's environment and architectural heritage. It offers a means of exchanging news and views on local development proposals, planning policies and conservation campaigns.
Liverpool Future was the outcome of a meeting held at the
Green Fish Cafe, Liverpool, in December 2001. This was attended by representatives of the Merseyside Civic Society, the Woolton Society, the Wavertree Society, the Gateacre Society and the Save Our City Campaign. It was agreed that members and supporters of these organisations would benefit from a regular exchange of news and
views, to supplement their existing meetings and to publicise their activities - as well as to attract new members.
