7. SPAM: Do not post virus alerts, chain letters, etc., to the Group.
8. COPYRIGHT: Do not forward copyrighted material to the Group unless you have permission to do so. If you do use information not your own, give proper credit.
9. SIGNATURE: Please include your first and last name, and email address, in the body of your message.
10. COURTESY: Be courteous to other members. If you disagree, do it politely. Don't resort to personal insults. If you're angry, wait at least an hour before replying. Respect your readers by following the rules of grammar, using a spell-checker, and re-reading your own messages before sending them. Avoid the use of words which dictionaries describe as 'vulgar' or 'obscene'.
FINALLY
"Be patient with those who violate the above rules. The internet is a new means of communication, we are all trying to adjust to it, and we all have our own ideas how it should work. It is easier for written messages to be misunderstood than spoken words. If you do feel the need to reprimand another member, do it 'off list' rather than via the Group."
And REMEMBER
Once you press 'Send' your message cannot be taken back. Messages to the Group will go into every member's email box, as well as to a web archive. Your message can be deleted from the archive, but there is no way it can be deleted from every individual mailbox.
