SIGNING UP for
Liverpool Future
Having successfully opened a Yahoo Mail account,
you can then use your new email address to join
the Liverpool Future Group.
Sign in to Yahoo Mail as described,
click on 'Compose', type
Liverpool-Future-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
in the 'To' box, then click on 'Send'.
You should receive an acknowledgement email from Yahoo - so check your Yahoo Mail inbox for the Acknowledgement message. When the message appears, click the Reply button and then click Send. Then, a few seconds/minutes later, check your Yahoo Mail inbox for the Welcome message from the Group Moderator.
From then on, any emails you send to
Liverpool-Future@yahoogroups.com
FROM YOUR YAHOO MAIL ACCOUNT will automatically be forwarded to all members of the Group, and any emails sent by other members of the Group should arrive in your Yahoo Mail Inbox. In order to determine or change the 'From' name which will appear on your messages, sign in to Yahoo Mail then click on 'Options', 'Mail Preferences', and type your preferred name or pseudonym in the 'From Name' box.
